Living with PTSD has its ups and downs. Dealing with it can be a battle. Spending time outdoors at golf courses has helped me a lot.
I first discovered FlingGolf while watching ESPN at a bar with my wife. I thought a player had hit a bad shot and was throwing his club. It turned out to be FlingGolf during a televised tournament.
The challenge, the scenery, and the welcoming community drew me in. Players are always sharing helpful tips and training videos.
With one FlingStick, I can play solo, walk a course, and leave the cart behind. Every course has its own character, and some of the scenery is amazing.
I started Gordie Goes to share something I enjoy and hope others enjoy it too. My message is simple: get out there and do something. Live life.
